Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Pickup Management:

• Coordinate daily pickups from client locations.
• Ensure adherence to pickup timelines and vehicle routing efficiency.
• Track and monitor pickup schedules using internal systems.

• Dispatch Operations:

• Manage and supervise timely dispatch of consignments from hubs or

warehouses.

• Ensure documentation, labeling, and load planning is accurate and compliant.
• Coordinate with transport vendors and internal fleet for smooth dispatch.

• Delivery Oversight:

• Track and ensure timely delivery of all B2B consignments.
• Resolve delivery exceptions or escalations proactively.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and TAT adherence.

• People & Vendor Management:

• Supervise on-ground staff and ensure shift-wise manpower availability.
• Liaise with 3PL, transporters, and other vendors for efficient logistics.

• Operational Reporting:

• Monitor KPIs such as pickup TAT, delivery TAT, damage/loss cases, and SLA

breaches.

• Share daily/weekly MIS reports with stakeholders.

• Process Improvement:

• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for process efficiency.
• Support automation and digitization initiatives in the operations lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• 36 years of experience in logistics or B2B operations.

• Strong knowledge of pickup, dispatch, and delivery workflows.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage large-scale operations.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in B2B logistics, e-commerce fulfilment, or supply chain operations.

• Exposure to working with large warehouses or transport hubs.
