Procurement & Vendor Management: -Identify and evaluate suppliers for machined & fabricated components and Elecrical/Electronic bought- out components. -Negotiate contracts, pricing (Zero based costing), and lead times to optimize cost and quality. -Build strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries. Manufacturing & Technical Knowledge: Understand machining (CNC, milling, turning, grinding, etc.) and fabrication (welding, cutting, bending, etc.) processes. Assess supplier capabilities based on technical specifications and drawings. Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure supplier compliance. Supply Chain Operations: Monitor inventory levels and ensure on-time procurement to prevent shortages. Coordinate logistics, warehousing, and material movement for efficient supply chain flow. Implement best practices to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Work with quality teams to ensure suppliers meet ISO, IATF, and other industry standards. Conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions to address quality issues. Cost Optimization & Process Improvement: Analyze supply chain costs and identify areas for cost reduction. Implement lean manufacturing and just-in-time (JIT) inventory management principles
