Assistant Manager - Production

The Assistant Manager - Production will oversee all aspects of production planning and execution in the chemical manufacturing facility at Tarapur. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of products with the right quality and cost-efficiency. Your responsibilities will include compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, employee development, and driving continuous improvement in production processes. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Developing and implementing production plans to ensure timely delivery of products meeting quality standards and cost targets. - Monitoring production schedules and adjusting plans as necessary to maintain optimal output and efficiency. - Ensuring strict adherence to all environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the manufacturing process. - Facilitating training and development programs for employees to enhance skills and promote career growth. - Developing annual and long-term operating budgets for the production department and conducting financial analysis. - Directing the implementation of process improvements and best practices in production to enhance efficiency. - Developing and maintaining quality control systems to promptly identify and address production problems. - Preparing detailed production reports and maintaining accurate personnel records. You should have a B.Tech/B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering with proven experience in a production management role within the chemical industry. Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, safety standards, and budgeting is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex production issues.
