Qualification:

B.Sc / M.Sc in (Inorganic Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry / Dairy Science / Microbiology)

Experience:

08 to 10 years in Dairy / Food Processing industry, preferably in Raw Milk Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute chemical, physical, and microbiological tests for raw milk at Milk Chilling Centres as per FSSAI standards.
  • Prepare and implement sampling plans for raw milk as per company and statutory requirements. • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and glassware. • Conduct and coordinate raw water testing through external laboratories to comply with FSSAI norms. • Responsible to review reports, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions at regional level, of the Quality team. • Provide technical support and training at regional level of the Quality team for improved capability and accuracy. • Handle FSSAI license applications, renewals, and annual return uploads on the FoSCoS portal. • Maintain all QA documentation, records, and registers as per internal and statutory requirements. • Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality deviations. • Prepare and submit MIS data, OPEX, and CAPEX budgets within the defined timelines. • Identify training needs and conduct skill development programs for QA personnel across BMCs/CCs.

Key Skills:

• Strong analytical knowledge of milk and milk product testing.
  • Experience with instruments such as Milk screen, Gerber Centrifuge, Hot Air Oven, Water Bath, and Milk Analyzer. • Good knowledge of FSSAI standards, food safety systems, and quality compliance. • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills. • Ability to manage multiple QA locations and meet strict timelines.
