Assistant Manager, Portfolio Management

You will be responsible for evaluating products, identifying therapy areas, and mapping competition in the pharmaceutical industry. You will prepare customized business case models and conduct product valuations using techniques such as DCF, NPV, IRR, and ROI. Financial modeling will be essential to assess the financial viability of projects, including revenue, sales, COGS, EBITDA, and gross margin. Your role will involve building detailed business cases and strategy documents for selected products, generating competitive intelligence data, and supporting the analysis of new business opportunities. You will also be involved in market research to track competition, sales, and volume of products. Qualifications required for this role include a B Pharma degree with an MBA in Finance preferred, along with 5 to 7 years of overall experience and at least 3 years of functional experience in generic Portfolio Management. A strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical domain, particularly the US & EU Pharma market, is essential. Proficiency in using analytical tools and databases, as well as excellent presentation and communication skills, will be valuable assets in this position.
