Assistant Manager - Parts Book

As an experienced Parts Catalog Author, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition of functions to the Center of Excellence (COE) in India. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating knowledge transfer and documentation from the existing MDM/Parts books team members to support this transition effectively. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the NPI team on the AMPIP project timing to assist in the Parts book scheduling calendar. Working in close coordination with the Regional/site engineering and product management teams, you will be responsible for clarifying project expectations and ensuring that the service Level Definition (SLD) is clearly defined. Your attention to detail will help maintain the quality of work completed by the functional teams, contributing to the overall success of the projects. Furthermore, your role will involve collaborating with the Product Support Team to understand the field support and production cut-in on the PSP needs. This will ensure that the parts catalogs are updated accurately to reflect future timing on PSP changes, thus enhancing the support provided to the end-users. In line with the organization's focus on customer-centric solutions, you will work closely with the MDM, Parts Books, e-commerce, and Tech Info teams to align efforts in terminologies and translations for data delivery. This alignment aims to meet the needs of the customers by ensuring consistency and accuracy in the information provided through our viewing systems, ultimately putting the Farmer First. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in Parts Catalog Authoring, with a proven track record of global exposure. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken English, are essential, given the collaborative nature of the role. Your willingness to coordinate and attend meetings with teams in Germany and Italy, even during Central European Time (CET) hours on some occasions, demonstrates your commitment to effective collaboration. Additionally, your good project management skills will be instrumental in driving successful outcomes in this dynamic and cross-functional environment.,
