Job Description

Role:

Non-BOM Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring indirect materials and services (Non-Bill of Materials) essential for business operations. This includes office supplies, IT equipment, facility services, MRO items, and other non-production-related purchases. The role demands strong vendor management, cost optimization, and compliance with procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source Non-BOM items and services based on internal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve optimal value.
  • Manage purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in ERP systems.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Admin, IT, Finance, etc.) to understand procurement needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Track and report savings, spend analysis, and procurement KPIs
