Job Title: Assistant Manager Nominated Quality Assurance (QA) Location: Bangalore Industry: Apparel / Textile / Garments Functional Area: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Textile Engineering or Diploma in Textile/Related Field Job Description: We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager Nominated QA to join our Quality team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the garment manufacturing process, from sampling to shipment, by complying with buyer manuals, quality systems, and international benchmarks. Key Responsibilities: Study and understand Buyers Manual; clear Buyers written test to get certified. Work with Buyer portals to upload QA reports and documentation. Monitor and enforce quality standards across manufacturing stages: size set, batch setting, measurements, finishing, etc. Ensure quality from sampling to final shipment. Investigate product quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Provide quality-related training to internal teams. Maintain quality audit reports and analyse trends/data to track quality performance. Conduct internal audits to ensure process compliance with quality standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sampling, Production, and Bulk Sewing teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance product consistency. Candidate Profile: Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Diploma in Textile Engineering or Apparel Manufacturing. 5–10 years of relevant experience in the apparel industry in a similar QA role. Knowledge of international quality standards such as AQL, ISO, ASTM. Technical Skills: Sound understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and manufacturing processes. Proficient in quality inspection tools and defect classification methods. Strong skills in root cause analysis and quality systems. Soft Skills: High attention to detail and excellent analytical thinking. Strong communication and team collaboration. Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
