Assistant Manager (metal finish)

As a Metal Finishing Operations Supervisor, your role involves overseeing day-to-day operations in the metal finishing department to ensure smooth workflows and efficiency. You will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring work is completed on time, and maintaining quality control standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Ensuring that the metal finishing meets the required standards of quality, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations by conducting regular inspections and quality checks on finished products. - Leading and supervising a team of workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed, while addressing any personnel issues to ensure a productive work environment. - Identifying opportunities for process improvement in metal finishing processes, reducing waste, and increasing productivity. You will be expected to implement new techniques or machinery to enhance the quality and efficiency of metal finishing. - Managing raw materials and supplies necessary for the metal finishing processes, ensuring adequate stock of chemicals, tools, and other resources, and maintaining inventory levels. - Ensuring health and safety compliance by following safety protocols and health regulations related to handling hazardous materials or machinery. You will also conduct regular safety audits and train staff on proper safety procedures. - Working closely with the sales or export team to ensure that metal products are finished according to customer specifications. You will adjust processes to meet specific requirements for different markets or clients. - Keeping detailed records of production, quality checks, and any issues encountered, and providing regular reports to upper management on department performance, production targets, and any concerns. - Ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment used in metal finishing processes and addressing any production issues or challenges that arise, troubleshooting problems, and implementing effective solutions. As a Full-time Metal Finishing Operations Supervisor, your work schedule will involve a day shift at the designated in-person work location.,
