Assistant Manager - Mechanical

Role Overview: You will be working as a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager in the Mechanical Maintenance department at Jubilant Life Sciences Limited in Bharuch. Your main responsibility will be to execute planned maintenance activities to achieve Zero breakdowns, Zero defects, and Zero accidents in the process and utility equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain process and utility equipment in shifts - Perform mechanical maintenance (Preventive, predictive & Breakdown) of process & utility equipment with proper record-keeping - Focus on continuous reduction in downtime and inventory - Minimize waste and maintain equipment history - Conduct Root Cause analysis of breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions - Provide training and development opportunities to team members - Perform Life Cycle Analysis of critical equipment and adhere to EHS policy - Implement ISO standards, TPM, and 5S practices - Maintain awareness about responsible care (Environment, Health, Safety, and Security) Qualification & Experience: - BE (Mechanical) with 3-4 years of experience in process/chemical/fine chemical industries Key Competencies: - Strong exposure and hands-on experience in equipment used in chemical process plants/batch process - Practical experience in maintenance of Glass line equipment and mechanical seals - Knowledge of DCS/PLC-based control systems - Conceptual knowledge of ISO, WCM, SIX SIGMA, and MAXIMO - Understanding of Safety Standards, use of PPEs, and basic utilities knowledge such as refrigeration, steam, and cooling towers,
