Assistant Manager - Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

• Should be flexible and quickly adaptive within the team including change management whenever / wherever necessary
• Budgeting and approving expenses, and controlling and monitoring inventory
• Creating maintenance schedules, and prioritizing work
• Should be able to lead both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance
• Hands-on experience with Utilities and facilities like Chiller, DG, Compressor, ETP, STP etc.
• Conducting site inspections, and identifying areas requiring extra maintenance work
• Communicating with upper management, customers, suppliers, and other service providers
• Hands experience in Material Handling equipment like Trolley, Forklift, Stackers
• Strong Hands-on experience in Mechanical assembly, alignments, modifications
• Responsible for following up with AMC
• Responsible for developing alternate vendors for consumables purchasing to be more cost and quality-effective
• Effective team leader to handle a team of 15 to 20 people
• Support manager on the functions of breakdown/ shutdown maintenance
• Planning and execution of preventative maintenance and spare part planning for all machine
• Optimizing, monitoring & improving utilization of available resources
• Strong hands in implementing and leading 5S and Kaizen cultures
• Maintain statutory requirements & legal compliance for the Maintenance department
• Maintain safe and accident-free operations
• Implementing and Maintaining ISO/QMS and OHSAS systems
• Responsible to Closing of any Statutory/third-party audit findings

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate must possess C License

Diploma / Graduation Electrical Field
