Job Description

As an Assistant Manager in the KYC and onboarding team, your role involves verifying data submitted by customers, performing due diligence of new and existing clients, and managing the risk assessment process. You will also be responsible for verifying KYC documentation, managing new client adoption or periodic review stream, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Additionally, you will manage teams of verifiers, suggest process automations, and prepare metrics for the leadership team. Your interaction with stakeholders will be crucial for the smooth functioning of the unit. Key Responsibilities: - Verify data submitted by customers - Perform due diligence of new and existing clients - Verify KYC documentation of customers - Conduct risk assessment of customers - Manage new client adoption or periodic review stream - Ensure adherence to SLAs with the business - Manage teams of verifiers - Suggest process automations and prepare metrics - Interact with stakeholders for smooth functioning of the unit Qualifications Required: - 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in AML/KYC/compliance within corporate financial services industry - Understanding of Control, Compliance, Investigation/chasing functions - Familiarity with RBI AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines - Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines, risk scores, and entity types - Ability to interpret alerts and identify trends and inconsistencies - Understanding of end-to-end KYC process In this role, you can expect a positive and get-things-done workplace, a dynamic and constantly evolving space, and an inclusive environment that values diverse voices in decision-making.
