Job Description

Internal Audit (Credit Risk Models & Scorecard Based Lending)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct audits of credit scorecard models, internal rating model, credit underwriting and model governance processes
Audit the end-to-end process of scorecard lifecycle, including model deployment, scorecard-based lending, credit scorecard.
Assess data quality and integrity used in scorecards and scoring engines.
Perform risk-based audits across lending products including personal loans, education loans, consumer finance, and secured lending.
Ensure adherence to credit policies, risk appetite and RBI/NBFC guidelines
Identify control gaps, communicate risks and monitor closure of audit.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable insights for stakeholders

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of Credit Risk Models, Scorecard Model frameworks, and lending analytics.
Exposure to model governance, underwriting processes, and regulatory guidelines (RBI/NBFC norms).
Experience in Internal Audit for lending or BFSI institutions (preferred)

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (preferably with Analytics experience) / MBA (Finance)
