Job Description

Job Summary:

The primary technical expert is responsible for ensuring excellence in complex Hedge Fund accounting services through expertise and final review authority. This role serves as the ultimate subject matter expert for the team on complex accounting matters, leading technical decisions and process innovations while providing authoritative guidance on sophisticated client portfolios and advanced accounting topics.

Role: Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing entire client relationships and ensuring client service and satisfaction.
Manage and train hedge fund accountants.
Manage and allocate daily/monthly/annual tasks to fund accountants.
Ensure timely and accurate client reporting.
Maintain books and records for clients with complex operations.
Ensure periodic fund Net Asset Valuation, investor reporting, and financial reporting deliverable deadlines are met.
Analyze, research, and ensure appropriate reconciliations surrounding investment activity.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual client financial statements.
Interacts with outside auditors and tax advisors in completion of year-end audits and tax returns.
Prepare, validate, and assist in preparation of client accounts, reporting, financial statements, financial audit reporting, and specific client reporting.
