As an experienced Footwear Sourcing & Product Development Executive, your role will involve managing end-to-end development and sourcing for sports sneakers, formal shoes, leather footwear, and women's collections. Your strong product knowledge, ability to coordinate with vendors, and passion for innovation and quality will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new footwear collections across various categories such as sports, formal, leather, and women's footwear. - Source and finalize suitable factories, materials, and components for each category. - Collaborate closely with designers and merchandising teams for sampling and material selection. - Identify and onboard new vendors, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. - Coordinate with vendors for sample development, costing, and production timelines. - Negotiate prices, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and delivery terms to align with business and quality objectives. - Maintain product quality, fit, and comfort standards throughout all development stages. - Evaluate and monitor vendor performance concerning quality, capacity, and compliance. - Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and market trends to drive innovation. - Prepare product development trackers, cost sheets, and technical documentation. Qualification & Skills: - Graduate/Diploma in Footwear Design, Leather Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in footwear sourcing and development, with a preference for candidates with brand or buying house experience. - Strong knowledge of sports shoe constructions, leather processing, and comfort materials. - Experience working with both domestic and international vendors. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation management.
