Assistant Manager Food and Beverage

As an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager, your role will involve overseeing daily front-of-house operations and personnel in a high-volume dining establishment. Your main responsibilities will include achieving excellent customer service, maintaining food and beverage quality, developing staff, and meeting financial goals. - Managing all front-of-house staff such as servers and hosts. - Training, coaching, and motivating the team to achieve excellent service standards. Addressing performance issues promptly. - Overseeing operations including opening/closing procedures, table assignments, and supply needs. - Monitoring the dining room environment and operations to ensure excellent service standards like greeting customers, taking orders, and delivering food/drinks promptly. - Inspecting facilities and dining areas for cleanliness, functionality, and guest safety. - Assisting the Assistant General Manager with goal setting, budget planning, staff scheduling, and menu development. - Tracking daily sales/revenue numbers and assisting with month-end reporting. Identifying trends and opportunities. - Filling in for managerial duties in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, including addressing customer complaints. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of restaurant experience, preferably in an Assistant Manager or senior service role. - Positive attitude and excellent team leadership abilities. - Strong operations management skills with good attention to detail. - Experience with restaurant POS systems.
