Assistant Manager, Finance Operations

Role Overview: As a member of the Prudential team, you will be responsible for various financial and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operations of the company. Your role will involve overseeing financial accounting, managing balance sheets and P&L accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee financial accounting and manage balance sheet and P&L accounts. - Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping on financial books. - Prepare and review financial, regulatory, tax, and statutory deliverables. - Support cost management team by providing financial reports and insights. - Identify opportunities to leverage financial models across LBUs. - Implement and monitor robust financial controls. - Prepare and review financial transactions. - Assist in the preparation of financial reports for Entity boards. - Perform the month-end close process and ensure accuracy. - Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash flow. - Collaborate with cost management teams for budgeting and forecasting. - Provide information to auditors and prepare for external audits. - Manage tax returns submission, reporting, and filing. - Establish tax risk management processes and act as a key point of contact for taxation matters. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred. - Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations. - Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. - Knowledge of tax compliance and risk management. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
