Job Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant Shift Incharge – Electrical to support the shift incharge in overseeing electrical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the SID (Steel / DRI) unit. The role ensures safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power distribution and supports production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Electrical Shift Incharge in managing shift operations.
• Monitor electrical equipment such as transformers, motors, LT/HT panels, MCC, VFD drives, and DG sets.
• Support preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick restoration of systems.
• Maintain shift-wise logbooks, operational records, and breakdown reports.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and operations teams for smooth plant functioning.
• Provide technical support during shutdowns, testing, and commissioning.
• Supervise and guide electricians and technicians during the shift.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, motors, and industrial equipment.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting HT & LT systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and industrial regulations.
• Team leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
