Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager / Manager Design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design, product development, and new technology initiatives within the automotive or related engineering sectors. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end development of new product designs from concept to prototype to manufacturing. Translate customer specifications into design requirements and manage validation processes. Guide and supervise the design team in creating 3D models and component layouts using Creo . Drive all design-related activities for RFQs, DFMEA, PPAP, DVP/PV testing, and CAE. Track design progress and effectively communicate updates and changes to the Head of Product Engineering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design output with customer and internal requirements. Provide technical input and support to New Product Development (NPD) and prototyping activities. Foster strong collaboration with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Key Skills: Product Knowledge: Suspension, Brakes, Chassis, Engine, Elevators, Cabin Dampers, Vehicle Layout/Design. Design & Development: New Product Development (NPD), New Technology Development, APQP, DFMEA, DVP, RFQ, VA/VE, BOM. Software Proficiency: Creo (Proficient level) . Role & responsibilities
