Job Description

Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - Settlement and Waiver Unit
Job Purpose
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collection targets for the assigned region, ensuring PL Roll Back and PSBL collection targets are met, and control the cost of collections.

Control delinquency and focus on write-off management.

Ensure documented feedback is maintained.

Work with the legal team to execute legal tools such as 138/arbitration summons and warrants.

Comply with audit queries.

Ensure adequate feet on street availability, region-wise, bucket-wise, and segment-wise.

Manage productivity by setting parameters for Collection Officers, Agencies, and DMAs; monitor performance and conduct weekly reviews with collection executives.

Ensure background and reference checks for agencies/DMAs being appointed.

Constantly evaluate DMAs and agencies.

Identify and manage training needs for Collection Executives (CEs).

Support collection officers with legal and police issues.

Drive champion collection initiatives in the field.

Conduct random customer visits.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Graduate with 7 to 8 years of relevant experience or MBA with 3 years of relevant experience.

Strong people management skills.

Demonstrated success and achievement orientation.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong bias for action and ability to drive results in a high-performance environment.

Demonstrated leadership capability.

Excellent relationship-building skills.

Affirmative nature, strong leadership skills, clarity of thought, and perseverance.

Exceptionally high motivation levels and self-starter attitude.

Working knowledge of computers.
