• Material cost analysis month on month and look for any variances
• Inflation tracking for RM and Components and corresponding recovery from Customer (on FG parts)
• Monitoring the commodity cost movement basis published INDICES and obtain the required inflation from customer and obtain the reduction from vendor (in case of deflation)
• Prepare the material cost estimates for monthly forecasts, annual OP activity.
• Publishing the weekly material cost actuals.
• Assist in computing the Material KPIs (Purchase price variances/ Negotiations etc)
