Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Cost Accounting Department in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial decision-making process by providing accurate cost data and analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports to support management decision-making.
Monitor and control costs by analyzing variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
Perform regular audits of cost data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting procedures and controls.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5-6 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
