Assistant Manager Compliance

As an Assistant Manager Compliance Legal with an LLB / LLM degree and 8 to 10 years of experience, you are expected to possess a deep understanding of all the necessary Laws, Rules, and Regulations pertaining to the Food & Beverage industry. This includes knowledge of acts such as the Food Safety Standards Act(s) and Legal Metrology among others. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the timely renewal of plant-level and other licenses and permissions by maintaining an up-to-date master data that requires daily updating. You will also be responsible for applying for FSSAI Licenses, identifying and applying for new licenses and permissions for all plants and other locations, and reviewing product labels to ensure compliance with FSSA, IPR, and Legal Metrology regulations. Additionally, you will be required to manage legal proceedings under FSSA, Legal Metrology, and any other applicable statutes. Your role will also involve advising on promotional activities to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and overseeing the complete compliance of all units under your purview.,
