Job Description

To oversee and manage all aspects of civil billing and quantity surveying for the construction of a warehouse facility, ensuring accurate cost estimation, timely billing, and compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Documentation

Prepare and verify RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills in accordance with project progress.
Maintain detailed records of measurements and quantities executed on site.
Ensure timely submission and certification of bills from clients and consultants.
Coordinate with accounts and finance teams for invoice processing and payment follow-ups.

Quantity Surveying

Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and assist in cost estimation and budgeting.
Monitor material consumption and reconcile with actual site execution.
Assist in rate analysis and cost control measures.

Contract & Compliance

Review contract documents and ensure billing aligns with contractual terms.
Support in preparing change orders, variation claims, and escalation statements.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors for billing and QS-related matters.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory norms.

Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with site engineers, procurement, and planning teams for billing inputs.
Generate periodic MIS reports on billing status, cost variance, and budget utilization.
Flag discrepancies and suggest corrective actions to minimize cost overruns.

Preferred Attributes

Min Experience of 5-6 yrs in Civil & structural Steel works
Experience in progress monitoring & quality is must.
Work experience with PMC would be added advantage
