Assistant Manager - Assurance & Risk

The ideal candidate should possess strong soft skills and functional knowledge to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting the execution and finalization of all internal Financial Control related assignments for the company's operations. This involves managing the Risk Control Matrix (RCM) for all Group Companies, ensuring timely updates to RCM for any process and control changes, and periodic confirmation of RCM with process owners and Finance controller. You will be involved in the automation of Internal Financial control (IFC) through the LICM (Laser Internal Control Management) application, as well as conducting periodic reviews of control compliances and evidence in the LICM application. Additionally, you will be responsible for presenting periodic escalations and dashboards to the CFO, CEO, and CARE regarding non-compliances and reasons thereof. As the point person for the Annual IFC Audit process, you will coordinate with the Audit team for Test of controls and assist team members in executing assignments. You will ensure that IFC Testing of Design and Testing of Effectiveness is completed by March 31st and present the report to the CEO, CFO, FC, and CARE. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in creating awareness and guiding process owners in implementing controls and sound business practices. You will also assist in devising policy guidelines on business processes and systems, as well as promoting improvements in controls, cost reduction, and enhancing business performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting any other assignments entrusted by the HOD and/or Chief Assurance & Risk Executive.,
