Assistant Manager - Assurance - FAAS-Fund Accounting

Role Overview: You will be joining as an Assistant Manager in the National Assurance team at EY, specifically in the ASU - FAAS - Financial&AccountingAdv department based in Mumbai. Your role will involve providing critical financial accounting advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with audit standards, delivering accurate financial statements, and supporting various accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare fund financial statements under Indian GAAP, IFRS/Ind AS, or US GAAP - Deliver month-end PnL & NAV accurately and timely - Prepare NAV Pack & Investor Allocation - Utilize Fund accounting tools like Investran/ Lemonedge - Perform daily journal entries, management fee calculations, valuation of investments, and financial reporting - Execute process capital calls, distributions, and waterfall distributions - Maintain proper accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls - Conduct middle office functions including P&L analysis and daily cash projections - Review general ledger exceptions and make necessary adjustments - Accrue daily or monthly non-security-related expenses - Analyze daily and monthly securities pricing - Test control processes regularly to ensure quality service delivery - Interact with client service teams for timely communication of financial information - Work with Investran and/or Lemonedge Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant Additional Details: EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, dedicated to hiring and developing passionate individuals to contribute to building a better working world.
