Assistant Manager - Accounts & Taxation (NBFC)

About the Role:

Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and supervising day-to-day accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Overseeing vendor invoice processing, including validation, booking, and ensuring timely payment as per agreed terms.
• Handling e-Invoicing compliance, generation, and reconciliation in accordance with GST regulations.
• Preparing and filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation) and TDS returns (24Q, 26Q) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Monitoring and reconciling input tax credit (ITC), ensuring proper documentation and rectification of mismatches.
• Managing monthly closing activities, including ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Preparing MIS reports related to income, expenses, profitability, and vendor aging to support management decision-making.
• Ensuring proper documentation and compliance for internal and statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules.
• Coordinating with internal departments (e.g., HR, operations, legal) to support cross-functional financial requirements.
• Manage end-to-end bank-related activities, including opening of current accounts, coordinating with bank officials, and ensuring compliance with KYC norms.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com or related field)
• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Tally, ZohoBooks, or other accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work independently
