Job Description

You are applying for the role of Assistant Manager Accounts with 35 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally having worked with US-based clients. Your strong understanding of US accounting principles, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be crucial for coordinating with international clients and internal teams effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports following US GAAP. - Aid in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis. - Prepare financial statements, cash flow, notices, PNL, and reports. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations; assist with tax filings and related documentation. - Communicate directly with US-based clients to address queries, collect inputs, and update on deliverables. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reporting. - Maintain precise records of financial transactions and ensure audit-ready documentation. - Assist with tax filings, compliance documentation, and audit support as required. - Identify process gaps, propose enhancements to streamline workflows, and boost efficiency. - Uphold internal controls and client-specific accounting policies. - Handle team responsibilities. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA/CPA/CA Inter preferred). - 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on US-based clients. - Profound knowledge of US GAAP and accounting practices. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience in an outsourcing/BPO/KPO setting. - Familiarity with tools like Bill.com, Gusto, or ADP. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
