Assistant IT Manager – Laboratory

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant IT Manager who will be responsible for supporting and managing Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), lab instrument interfaces, camera systems, CRM, and hardware troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with LIMS integration, vendor coordination, instrument connectivity, and resolving system-level technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and manage instrument interfaces with the LIMS platform.

· Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of LIMS-related projects and ensure SLA compliance.

· Participate in deployment and customization of the LIMS system as per laboratory needs.

· Gather technical and business requirements from lab and functional teams for instrument interface development.

· Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper system deployment.

· Support middleware integration such as AMS, Infinity, ADM, Remisol, etc.

· Provide technical support for CRM tools used in the lab setup.

· Troubleshoot and support lab hardware, including computers, cameras, and instrument systems.

· Maintain and monitor interfaces between lab instruments and LIMS.

· Collaborate with Pan-India teams to resolve complex configuration or integration issues.

· Ensure performance tuning and optimization of LIMS in coordination with internal teams.

· Document technical issues and solutions for continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

· Good understanding of laboratory operations – from sample collection to result reporting.

· Experience with LIMS platforms and laboratory workflows.

· Hands-on knowledge of instrument interfacing with LIMS.

· Strong skills in hardware and system troubleshooting (including cameras and instruments).

· Familiarity with lab automation devices like Beckman Coulter, Abbott, Siemens (preferred).

· Experience working with middleware software like AMS, Infinity, ADM, Remisol (added advantage).

· Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
