As the Assistant General Manager in Supply Chain Management (Electrical Equipment) at Sunsure, your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end procurement process of electrical equipment and services required for various power projects, including Solar, Thermal Power, and Transmission Lines, both domestically and internationally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage the procurement process for electrical equipment and services required for power projects. - Develop and execute procurement strategies aligning with project requirements and organizational goals. - Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. - Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors for electrical equipment and services. - Oversee the entire supply chain process, from order placement to delivery and installation. - Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays. - Act as the Commodity Lead for procurement of conductors and other critical electrical components. - Analyze market trends, commodity fluctuations, and pricing to make informed procurement decisions. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements. - Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred. - Minimum 12-16 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management within the electrical or power sector.
