Role & responsibilities

Quality Control

· Inspecting and testing all materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

· Reviewing codes, work orders, specifications, and processes to implementing quality standards and quality control systems at site.

· Work continuously towards improving quality of construction; identify new quality material for better quality product by checking all shuttering, reinforcement, and concreting etc for all members.

· For any non conformity doing root cause analysis, preparation of reports and discussing with the relevant teams to solve and close the issue.

· To ensure thorough checking of all RMC related activities such as quality of the concrete including slump, temperature, batch sheet & cubes etc.

· Make sure regular observations and proper compliance of observations / NCRs as per approved methodology.

· Monitoring and analysing quality performance at site and ensure all the constructions is made as per IS standards.

· Making plant/ external lab visits for witness testing.

· Process & Policies

· Work together with relevant site teams and departments to improve the quality at site.

· Adhere to quality process set and work continuously to improve the same

· Responsible for creating quality awareness amongst all through proper communication

· Documentation

· Responsible for all document control at site and ensure all documentation to be maintained as per ISO procedure.

· Follow and maintain checklist record for each activity, maintaining all material inspection records/ lab reports, cube register, rejection and rework records at site.

· Ensure that all documentation, record, compliance are maintained properly to avoid any ISO penalty.

· Preparation of corrective and preventive action reports and various quality related documents.

· Self & Team Development

· Attend all training programs (behavioral/ technical), seminars conducted/sponsored by company

· Initiate self learning and gain knowledge of other skills.

· Training of the team at site level.

Qualifications – B.E Civil/M. E Civil

Preferred Certification – NICMAR/ PMP/ Certified Civil Quality Controller (CCQC) / ISO QMS

Years of Experience – 10 – 15 Years post Qualification.
