Job Description

Dealer Development

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for dealers in coordination with the branch team.
  • Meet national dealer budget goals.
  • Collaborate with branch managers to set performance targets for active dealers.

Financial KPI Management & Monitoring

  • Coordinate with Finance to open dealer rebate codes and issue rebate credits based on previous year performance.
  • Issue target letters and share quarterly performance reports.
  • Drive sales across all target groups and product categories in the assigned area.
  • Regular performance reviews: Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Annual.

Training and Development

  • Facilitate product and application training for channel partners.
  • Prioritize training schedules (Core / Non-Core / Entry / Mid / Advanced Level products).
  • Use platforms like Infonet for training on order booking, online sales, and warranty management.
  • Categorize dealers based on performance (Gold, Silver, Bronze).

Dealer Support & Management

  • Maintain professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Conduct periodic visits to identify challenges and suggest improvements.
  • Address dealer grievances promptly.
  • Coordinate with branch sales/service teams to reassign direct accounts (Category D & E).
  • Identify dealer hiring opportunities for the budget year.

Dealer Agreement Management

  • Identify potential dealers with branch target group managers.
  • Facilitate screening and onboarding processes.
  • Review and off-board inactive or dormant accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with dealer agreements and perform dealer infrastructure audits.

Sales Management

  • Promote new concepts, products, services, and campaigns.
  • Recommend schemes, trade participation, and branding opportunities.
  • Plan and report visits in CRM.
  • Ensure adherence to HR, Finance, and Service policies.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • B.Tech or BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.

Skills

  • Strong self-starter with excellent time management.
  • Good presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in B2B environments and sales models.
  • Strong customer-facing, stakeholder engagement, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace.
