Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Film Editor based in Mumbai, India. The Assistant Film Editor will assist in the editing and post-production of films, working closely with the editing team to assemble raw footage, organize media assets, and ensure seamless video storytelling. Responsibilities include managing video sequences, collaborating with editors on creative decisions, maintaining project workflows, and delivering polished content aligned with the project's vision.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Film Editing and Video Production
• Experience in Video Post-Production and Post-Production workflows
• Knowledge of New Media trends and how they influence video content
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain organization within video editing projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with creative teams
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role or a portfolio showcasing relevant work is an advantage
