Job Description

Role Overview: As the Assistant Facility Manager for Technical Services, you will be responsible for managing the Electrical and Plumbing installations and maintenance within the facility. Your role will involve supporting the Chief Engineer in various tasks related to critical equipment maintenance, pre-emptive maintenance programs, and overseeing M&E Contractors" work practices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all engineering-related matters and generating necessary reports for maintenance and inventory. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Chief Engineer in managing Electrical, Plumbing installations & maintenance - Prepare critical spares list for all installations and plan inventory maintenance - Implement pre-emptive maintenance program to reduce equipment failures - Review maintenance practices of M&E Contractors to ensure quality work - Maintain logbooks, checklists, and PPM schedules for all M&E installations - Manage downtime/breakdown incidents and handle engineering-related matters independently - Ensure contractors adhere to house rules and minimize inconvenience to the client - Daily reporting on M&E to the Chief Engineer and generate service maintenance reports - Handle inventory and purchasing of spares and consumables - Generate downtime and breakdown incident reports Qualification Required: - DEE/BE Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering - 4-5 years of experience in facility management - Good communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel - Ability to function effectively as part of a team and initiate improvement initiatives - Strong people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff - Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements Please note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description.,
