Job Description

Position :

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3+ years

Key responsibilities

Plan inspections, define sampling, verify as per IICL standards, make usage decisions and record measurements in ERP.
Ensure timely release of incoming parts in ERP based on inspection criteria and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards.
Act as the key point of contact for production line related quality issues.
Strong capability to Review and Validate supplier 8Ds or corrective action reports.
Maintain and update incoming quality inspection plans, records, and reports in ERP
Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization projects in quality domain.
Accountable for timely closure of countermeasures for issues identified during line operations and Product Quality Audits.
Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, MS etc.) and sampling plans.
Incoming QC Rejection Analysis and Resolution Using the PDCA Cycle
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders in manufacturing & quality team

Requirements:

Qualification:

Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical, relevant experience in Auto component Industries

Skills :
Strong measurement knowledge and measuring instrument handling knowledge required
Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret technical drawings & Specification standards
Strong analytical and communication skills
Understanding about core tools 8D,SPC,MSA,FMEA,Kaizen
CMM handling knowledge is an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data analysis
