Job Description

Job Title:-

Design
thermoplastic injection moulds
(Hot Runner & Cold Runner).
Design
thermoset injection moulds, compression moulds, and transfer moulds
.
Prepare
2D drawings and 3D models
using CAD software such as
Siemens NX, CREO, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
.
Understand and apply
GD&T principles
in engineering drawings.
Analyze component designs for
manufacturability
and suggest improvements where required.
Develop and maintain
mould design documents
, including BOM, drawings, and revision history.
Coordinate with
tooling engineers, machinists, and production teams
during mould manufacturing and trials.
Support
mould trials, debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities
.
Assist in
mould flow analysis and thermal simulations
to improve part quality and cycle time.
Ensure mould designs meet
safety, quality, dimensional accuracy, and performance standards
.
Possess basic knowledge of
materials, machining, and mould manufacturing processes
.
Follow
mould maintenance and repair practices
.
Demonstrate
strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
.
Communicate effectively and work well in a
team environment
.

Must-Have Skills:-

Injection Molding
Mould Design
Engineering Drawings
2D Drawing
GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Design & Drafting Skills

Preferred (Added Advantage):-

Exposure to
Moldex3D or Autodesk Moldflow
tools.
Experience in
shop-floor coordination or tool room support
