Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day crew operation, planning, and placement of seafarers onboard managed vessels. Your main tasks will include ensuring crew changes are planned efficiently, compliance with regards to crew certification, training, and documentation in Crew Management Software (CMS), monitoring seafarers" compliance for respective vessels, and assisting the Crewing Manager in planning, approvals, and deployment of seafarers as per MSMC. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with vessel-related statutory, regulatory, Wallem, Union, and Clients requirements. - Maintain compliance with operational responsibilities in Crew Management Software. - Ensure compliance with Oil Major Matrices (Q88 & OCIMF SIRE) on Tanker Fleet. - Understand and comply with crewing and company KPIs. - Manage the fleet on a day-to-day basis. - Plan seafarers" schedules timely and ensure compliance in CMS. - Communicate effectively with seafarers and their families. - Ensure error-free pre-joining documents are provided to seafarers and briefing is completed. - Ensure on-time relief and timely placement of crew onboard. - Report performance issues of support team members to Line Manager. - Report performance issues and on-board conflicts to Line Manager. - Update OCIMF-SIRE using CMS/Q88 software for Tanker Fleet. - Maintain Minimum Safe Manning Certificate (MSMC)/P&I club certificate for vessels in the respective fleet. - Arrange crew-related dispensation as required from the flag state and ensure closure within stipulated time. - Close audit findings in PSC/MLC related to crew documentation/certification/training. - Plan and control expenses as per OPEX. - Process crew claims timely in CMS. - Assist Manager in maintaining crew budget. - Utilize knowledge of ship, owner, and trade-specific requirements to enhance crew planning, selection, retention. - Align crew skills with specific vessel needs during placement of seafarers. - Escalate concerns to Crewing Manager. - Maintain efficient and close-loop communication with all stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5-7 years" experience in a similar position. - Bachelor's Degree or Degree in Maritime/Logistics or related disciplines. - Good knowledge of crewing operations. - Effective communicator with a good command of English.,
