Assistant Counselor

Job description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced *Assistant Counsellor* to join Anjala Mind Care. The selected candidate will assist clients through initial assessments, observations, and reporting – under the guidance of our *Chief Psychologist (PhD)*.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Conduct *initial counselling assessments* for new clients

* Follow a *structured checklist* provided by the *Chief Psychologist*

* Observe and understand the client’s history (e.g., trauma, behavioral patterns, past experiences)

* Help identify *core emotional/psychological issues*

* Discuss doubts or complex situations with the *Chief Psychologist*

* Submit detailed *client reports* post-session

* Maintain strict *confidentiality* and a professional approach

*Eligibility Criteria:*

* *Psychology degree NOT mandatory*

* *Experience in counselling is essential* (Minimum 1 year preferred)

* Strong communication in *Tamil* and basic *English*

* Ability to follow professional structure and support systems

* Passion for helping clients with emotional and mental wellness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
