Role Overview: As a line cook at our leading catering network with offices in India, USA, and Australia, your role will involve using your knowledge of a la carte cooking, meat temperatures, and presentation to create finished products consistent with menu specifications and standards. You will be responsible for preparing all orders turned in by service staff quickly and according to order, ensuring that food leaves the kitchen in peak condition. Additionally, you will be preparing items for meal service, including sauces, soups, set up, and other daily menu items. It is essential to maintain proper food storage, date all containers, and rotate perishables to ensure they are kept at the correct temperatures. Key Responsibilities: - Use a la carte cooking knowledge to create dishes as per menu standards - Prepare orders quickly and accurately - Ensure food leaves the kitchen in peak condition - Prepare items for meal service and daily menu - Maintain proper food storage and rotation - Keep work area clean and sanitary - Take responsibility for assigned employees in the absence of Supervisor - Follow company policies and safety procedures - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, culinary school a plus - Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience as a line cook and six (6) months as a pantry/prep cook; OR equivalent combination Join us and be a part of our team where you can showcase your culinary skills and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our clients.,
