Assistant Art Director

As an Assistant Art Director at The Guild, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of India's most progressive business-media platform backed by Polygon Media. Your primary responsibility will be to define and evolve the visual language for all Guild properties across various mediums such as web, print, social, events, video, and emerging formats. You will have the opportunity to build and lead a team, establish processes, and cultivate a design culture that sets new standards in the industry. Your key responsibilities will include building and defining the brand's visual identity, leading design initiatives across multiple platforms, integrating creative AI tools into the design process, enhancing video and motion graphics content, developing scalable design systems, mentoring and coaching team members, collaborating with various departments within the organization, and ensuring that every design output meets the highest quality standards. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience leading design teams in media, digital publishing, or agency settings. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and familiarity with AI tools like Midjourney, DALLE, Runway, Sora, and Adobe Firefly is essential. You should possess a keen eye for typography, color, layout, motion, and brand systems, along with strong storytelling and strategic skills.
