Assistant Art Director

The job involves visualizing and creating attractive set designs for festivals, special events, IPs, and weddings curated by 70 EMG. As the ideal candidate, you should hold a Graduate degree in Fine Arts, Interior Design, or Visual Arts, with a preference for candidates with a background in arts or design. A Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts is also desirable. With at least 5 years of experience in creating brand experiences through spatial, set, and event design, you will be based in Mumbai. Your responsibilities will include visualizing designs for corporate events, exhibition stalls, weddings, award shows, fashion shows, and 70 EMG intellectual properties. You should be able to conceptualize events from a design language perspective aligned with the brand ethos, translating briefs into set designs and decor themes. Proficiency in software such as 3D Max, Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCad, Sketchup, and Corel Draw is required to sketch or design ideas effectively. Moreover, you will translate designs into working drawings, possess knowledge of materials, mediums, and associated costs, and demonstrate expertise in budgeting manufacturing costs for event space sets. Supervising set execution in the workshop and on-site during setup is also part of your responsibilities. Desired skills include set design and conceptualization, creative visualization, and design aesthetics, along with a commitment to excellence and quality.
