Assistant Analyst Calculation Compliance

As an Assistant Analyst Calculation Compliance at HSBC, you will be responsible for reviewing adherence of calculation logic with regulatory rules and HSBC Policy determinations for less complex NMCs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Engaging with policy SMEs as required - Reviewing readiness of calculation documentation for assessment - Defining test data scenarios and expected test results for Analysts to prepare detailed test scripts - Conducting a detailed review of test results to determine compliance with regulatory rules and HSBC Policy determinations - Identifying findings where rules and policy determinations are not met - Contributing to the production of formal Assessment Reports with ownership assigned for remediation - Providing written reports and verbal summaries/explanations to relevant stakeholders - Working closely with multiple change teams and business functions Qualifications required for this role include: - Demonstrable understanding of regulatory rule areas and their application in NMCs - Working knowledge of HSBC businesses, products, and regulatory reporting environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to articulate findings where rules and policy determinations are not met - Quick understanding of the end-to-end process and implications of NMCs in the context of regulatory requirements Additional skills that would be beneficial for this role include: - Ability to thrive in a dynamic, expanding team - Experience in an Audit, Controls, or Regulatory Reporting function within a large financial services organization At HSBC, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and be valued for your contributions.
