Asset Compliance Lead

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing asset software and hardware compliance with over 15 years of experience in the field. Your role will involve leading the asset compliance track, managing the complete life cycle of software/hardware assets, identifying and reporting license compliance issues, and recommending solutions. You will work closely with various IT groups to maintain software standards, validate product lists, and maintenance contracts within the asset management database. Additionally, you will provide data insights for hardware agreement renewals, negotiation, and procurement decisions, monitor hardware warranty terms, and conduct software/hardware asset reconciliation and audit activities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead asset compliance track and manage the complete life cycle of Software/Hardware assets - Identify, document, and report license compliance issues and recommend solutions - Maintain accuracy of data in Asset Management System and track all assets throughout life cycle - Coordinate software license and maintenance agreement reviews - Populate hardware asset data into asset tracking system and review hardware contracts - Provide data insights for hardware agreement renewals and procurement decisions - Interact closely with counterparts in different regions to comply with regulatory requirements - Conduct and lead software/hardware asset reconciliation and audit activities - Assist Service Delivery in IT Asset Refresh planning and purchasing - Lead internal and external software licensing audits and provide corrective action plans - Optimize software licensing agreements and create automated processes for software procurement/deployment - Advise on license recommendations that support business goals Qualifications Required: - ITIL Foundations Certificate and experience in multicultural environment - Familiarity with asset management software and/or inventory tracking systems - Excellent people skills for interaction with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, partners, and customers - Experience in asset management with tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, and Intune - Familiarity with contract/agreement review and accurate interpretation - Knowledge of hardware vendors and their products like Microsoft, Dell, HP, Cisco, and Apple - Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and relationship skills,
