Role Overview: As a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and up-to-date information in the CMDB. You will play a crucial role in populating the CMDB, aligning activities with the Change Management process, and triggering auditing processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing a Communication plan using the RACI model, recommending Service Improvement Plans, and ensuring the Service Asset and Configuration process is efficiently carried out. Key Responsibilities: - Populating the CMDB with accurate information - Aligning pre-defined activities with the Change Management process - Ensuring regular snapshots and Configuration Baselines are taken and protected - Triggering an auditing process on the CMDB - Implementing a Communication plan using the RACI model - Ensuring backups are taken as necessary - Making recommendations for Service Improvement Plans - Developing and maintaining the Service Asset and Configuration Management process - Ensuring the process meets objectives and is fit for purpose - Continual improvement of the process and its metrics Qualifications Required: - Good analytic and decision-making skills - Strong communication and presentation skills - Conflict resolution abilities - Technical background with expertise in IT technologies - Experience with configuration management tools and software development lifecycle - Ability to work in a multi-site environment - Proficiency with SCM tools and build automation software Note: The company, Wipro, is described as an end-to-end digital transformation partner with a vision for continuous reinvention.
