Job Description

Support asset allocation and model strategy tools

Take a lead role in the design, technical specification and development of asset allocation and model portfolio construction models/ tools.
Integrate different Russell risk models within the strategic asset allocation process.
Partner with IT resources to organize data and create data delivery for the asset allocation team
Collaborate with go-to-market teams and IT on the build-out of model deployment and financial advisor tools.

Solution construction

Design and construct model strategy portfolios (asset allocation portfolios built from mutual funds, ETFs, interval funds and SMAs)

Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand their needs and design solutions that align components to fulfill total portfolio client objectives.

Investment management

Participate in the strategic asset allocation positioning of multi-asset solutions.
Conduct analyses that guides implementation of investment decisions.

Your Expertise and Role Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a capital markets finance role, developing asset allocation tools.
Proficiency in running quantitative analyses in object-oriented programming languages (C++/C# and Python).
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Proficiency in relational database management systems, database design and tools (SQL etc)
Familiarity with optimization-based and Monte Carlo approaches applies to asset allocation analysis.
Ability to think clearly about complex problems and find pragmatic solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
