B.E. (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:

Senior Engineer / AM:
5–10 years
in aerospace structural assembly (mandatory)
AM / DM:
10–13+ years
in aerospace structural assembly (mandatory)

Industry Preference:
Aerospace

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage assembly teams: allocate work, monitor schedules, and drive productivity.
Apply best practices for
cycle time reduction
and efficiency improvement.
Strong knowledge of
structural jigs/fixtures, hand tools, and cutting tools
in aerospace assembly.
Review
manufacturing process sheets, customer drawings, specifications, and standards
.
Coordinate with supporting departments to resolve
shop floor queries
.
Estimate
man-hours
, conduct
time studies
, perform
line balancing
, and apply costing knowledge.
Ensure compliance with
aerospace quality and safety standards
(AS 9100, QMS 9001:2008, EHS 14001:2004).
Work with
ERP systems (SAP PP Module)
for planning and execution.
Monitor
daily production targets
, rework/rejection rates, and implement corrective actions.
Support
quality audits
and continuous process improvements.

Knowledge & Skills Required

Strong ability to interpret
engineering drawings
and apply
build-to-print
concepts.
Deep understanding of
aircraft structural assemblies
and related processes.
Familiarity with
quality audits
,
EHS compliance
, and aerospace production standards.
Strong
people management, planning, and problem-solving
skills.
