Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, and diagrams for assembly operations.
Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build machinery or equipment such as industrial, construction, or processing units.
Move, align, and install components and subassemblies using lifting or transporting devices like overhead cranes.
Perform tasks such as welding, fastening, and joining according to specifications.
Inspect parts and finished products for quality standards and dimensional accuracy
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on assembled units.
Maintain safe work practices and adhere to site safety protocols.

Preferred candidate profile

Ability to interpret engineering and technical drawings.
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in mechanical assembly.
Attention to detail and quality control.
Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
Experience or certification in mechanical fitting (ITI or equivalent preferred)
