Assembly Engineer- Mechanical

As an Assembly Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production and high-quality standards. You will collaborate with various departments to achieve organizational goals. Your role will involve planning and managing the assembly of fabricated components, structures, and machinery. You will interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate assembly, proper alignment, and fitting of parts. Additionally, you will coordinate with design, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage the assembly of fabricated components, structures, and machinery. - Interpret engineering drawings, BOM, and specifications for accurate assembly. - Ensure proper alignment, fitting, welding, and bolting of parts as per design requirements. - Coordinate with design, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. - Monitor and control manpower allocation, tools, and material usage in assembly. - Supervise and execute the assembly of fabricated structures, frames, conveyors, tanks, chimneys, and equipment. - Maintain documentation of assembly checklists, inspection records, and daily progress reports. - Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for assembly defects or rework. - Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper usage of tools and lifting equipment. - Ability to identify issues and troubleshoot assembly processes effectively. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools. - Familiarity with CAD software or production management tools is a plus. - Attention to detail and a learning attitude. - Good communication and observation skills.
