Assembly Engineer- Mechanical

As an Assembly Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency and quality standards are maintained. Your role will involve working closely with various departments to achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage the assembly of fabricated components, structures, and machinery. - Interpret engineering drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and specifications accurately for assembly. - Ensure proper alignment, fitting, welding, and bolting of parts as per design requirements. - Have hands-on experience in machine assembly and fitting processes. - Coordinate with the Design, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. - Monitor and control manpower allocation, tools, and material usage in assembly. - Supervise and execute the assembly of fabricated structures, frames, conveyors, tanks, chimneys, and equipment. - Maintain documentation of assembly checklists, inspection records, and daily progress reports. - Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for assembly defects or rework. - Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper usage of tools and lifting equipment. - Ability to identify issues and troubleshoot assembly processes effectively. Qualifications Required: - Educational Requirements: Diploma in Mechanical. - Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and tools. - Familiarity with CAD software or production management tools is a plus. - Attention to detail and a learning attitude. - Good communication and observation skills.
