Job Title: Assembly Engineer Location: Athipet, Ambattur, Chennai – 58 Experience Required: 1–3 years Industry: Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) Contact: 9150020436 | careers@lifttechequipments.com Job Summary: We are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled Assembly Engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical background (mechanical preferred) to join our manufacturing team. The role involves the assembly and integration of components and systems for material handling equipment, ensuring product quality, alignment with drawings, and timely execution. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform mechanical and basic electrical assembly of material handling equipment such as scissor lifts, dock levelers, and goods lifts. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to assemble parts and systems accurately. Coordinate with the design and production planning teams to ensure timely completion of assembly tasks. Ensure quality standards are maintained during each stage of the assembly process. Conduct fitting, alignment, and functional checks before dispatch. Assist in trial runs and basic testing of assembled equipment. Handle assembly tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently. Record daily assembly activities, component usage, and issues in data format. Collaborate with the service, fabrication, and electrical teams for any installation-related clarifications. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the assembly area. Key Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge with basic electrical understanding. Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, or equipment building. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Good problem-solving and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an added advantage. Proficiency in documentation and reporting (MS Excel or manual logs).
